Mozhdeh is a materials engineer passionate about creating materials that make a real-world impact in healthcare and sustainability. She earned her B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, where she worked on innovative biomaterials for tissue regeneration, health monitoring, and drug delivery. She was later awarded a Brain Pool postdoctoral fellowship in South Korea, where she shifted her focus to bio-based polymers aimed at improving food safety and shelf life while reducing environmental impact, bringing together her interests in sustainability, public health, and materials innovation. Currently, Mozhdeh is focused on developing clinically relevant biomaterials that bridge the gap between lab research and real-world healthcare.

Outside the lab, she enjoys watching movies, playing video games, and spending time with loved ones.
