Harrison began his research as a research assistant while studying bioengineering on the biomechanics track at the University of Pittsburgh. Under Otolaryngologist Dr. Carl Snyderman, he has investigated the clinical risks associated with extubation and explored medical device specifications to inform the development of a device aimed at improving extubation safety. Currently, he is contributing to an endotracheal stabilizer device and emergency airway device. He aims to pursue a career as a medical device engineer and intends to complement his technical skillset with an MBA in the future.
Outside the lab, Harrison enjoys practicing Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai, drawing, playing guitar, and traveling.
